Pokemon Legends Arceus offers side quests and one of the most complex to complete will probably be The Legend of the Seas. In concrete terms, nothing very difficult, but it does require you to have specific Pokémon on your person while deciphering an enigma whose text is not in the game. That is why we are offering you this article which explains everything what needs to be done to see the end of it successfully.
How to get the Legend of the Seas mission in Pokémon Legends Arceus?
You will have to farm the Pokédex task since the Legend of the Seas mission appears when you reach the 5-star member rank of the Galaxy Group. Once it’s done, there won’t be any need to stray very far since the quest can be found on Professor Lavender’s board.
How to complete the Legend of the Seas mission?
Accepting the quest immediately initiates a dialogue with Professor Lavender. He explains to you that he saw a strange shape from Premiépas Beach, a shape that he thinks would be a Pokémon heading towards the Lazuli Coast. He therefore calls on Graham who tells him that this story reminds him of what he read in a book called The Legend of the Seas. Book that you will have to consult to continue the adventure.
A meta search
The trick is that the book Legend of the Seas is not in Pokemon Legends Arceus but in the Sparkling Diamond and Sparkling Pearl remakes. Indeed, it is found on the second floor of the Librairie de Joliberges. Well, as you don’t necessarily have one of the two versions, here is a transcription of the text of the riddle:
“A long, long time ago, a Pokémon called Prince lived in the East Sea. One day, a brave human being eager to meet this Prince went to seek help from the sea Pokémon inhabiting this sea.
“This is how a Babimanta, a Mustébuée and a Qwilfish with large thorns, recognizing the courage of the brave human being, agreed to accompany him in his quest. Our four heroes then took to the sea at sunset and entered a cave whose entrance formed an arch rising above the waves. »
“The Prince, having heard the news, joined our heroes at the Creux du Cap. »
Assemble the right team
The text is quite clear on the next step, you need three specific Pokémon in your team: Babimanta, Mustébouée and Qwilpik, the evolution of Qwilfish. To find out how to get them, you can click on their names to go to their pages explaining how to capture or evolve them.
We take this opportunity to warn you that at the end of the quest, you will have to face four Water-type Pokémon, one of which is at level 50 (the others being level 34 or 35) so make sure that the other Pokémon on your team can stand against them while allowing you to capture them.
In search of the lost ark
The next sentence in the riddle talks about sunset and the arch. Direction the Lazuli Coast and its Main of Sand. That’s good, there is a bivouac at this place, which allows both to be able to teleport near the place but also to be able to sleep to change the schedule and go to the evening or the night.
If you cross the ark at night with the three required Pokémon in your team, a series of messages will warn you that a rock has just moved.
The fabulous cave
No need to leave the area since the rest of the mission always takes place at the Lazuli Coast. But this time you have to go north. More precisely, you have to arrive at Cap du Voile from the north. On the map, the entrance to the cave is located just above the C de Cap.
Enter the cave to find Manaphy accompanied by three Phione. Of course, as it’s about capturing Fabulous Pokémon, we recommend that you save before initiating the fight to be able to reload the game in case of failure.
The four Pokémon are surrounded by a shield that must be broken by throwing an object, it can be a gnawed noigrume, food or even the Poké Ball of a member of your team. Having broken the shield, the fight can begin to try to capture your target.
Even if technically, Manaphy and a single Phione are enough, you might as well catch all four to be calm and advance your Pokédex a little. Once that’s done, you can go back to Professor Lavender in his office in Rusti-Cité to show him the Manaphy Pokédex page and he’ll reward you with three Comet Pieces.
And there you have it, the Legend of the Seas side mission is complete, but you probably still have things to do in the game and our dedicated guide to Pokemon Legends Arceus may continue to prove useful.
